Bavarian Cream Cheesecake Serving & Thaw Process
Our Bavarian Cream Cheesecake is unique and freezing the cake is part of the process of making it. Depending on the pickup time of your cake, you may need to store it in the freezer and thaw it for your event. If your cake is picked up on the same day as your event, storing it in the refrigerator is also a good option. When it is time to serve the cake, always use a good knife as opposed to decorative or plastic servers.

Thawing times are as follows. *When thawing your cake from the freezer, open the lid of the box or remove it from the box completely.

STACKED PARTY & WEDDING CAKES
For wedding and stacked cakes, the core, or middle of the lower layers can stay firm/frozen. This is a benefit to the cake as it keeps the rest of it cold but can present a serving challenge.
It is best to start serving the outer edges and move in. As you reach the cardboard between the layers, you may separate each layer in order to expose the layer beneath it (which will also aid in softening any still firm center sections). It is preferred to have a knife available other than decorative wedding cake utensils. The ideal method is a sturdy knife and access to hot water.
Even when the center still seems firm you may cut/plate it and it will be ready to eat in minutes!
