Every cake is packaged to provide the best possible protection during transportation. The type of box we use depends on the size, height, and design of your cake.
Most custom cakes and ready-to-order cakes are packaged in our standard white cake boxes. Cakes with taller decorations or cake toppers are packaged in our taller cake boxes whenever possible to better protect the design.
Tiered cakes are packaged in specialty tall cake boxes with removable side panels, allowing the cake to be safely removed without damaging the decorations.
Occasionally, a cake may simply be too tall for even our specialty boxes. In those situations, we may leave the lid slightly open rather than risk damaging the decorations.
💡 Helpful Tip
Wait until you arrive at your destination before opening your cake box. Every time the box is opened, there’s an increased risk of accidentally damaging the decorations.
